I shop Lowes, half an hour closer to me. but I am sure they all carry the same thing.  Now all I have to do is keep my sister's sticky fingers off of the,.  Every time I go to her house, some room or the other is getting a paint job... lol

Hello Bonnie, I use a high density foam white roller, they come in two sizes, I have both. The two sizes require rolling handles. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Linzer-6-in-High-Density-Foam-Mini-Rolle.... I got them from Home Depot. Thanks Dear Heart for the comment on the roses and cake. I hope this info helps. Pam

Hi Pam!  Your sister is lucky to have you!  Such a beautiful cake!    This is a lovely color of red too.  And the red roses are perfect, as usual. {:o)

I just watched the video.  It looked like she was using the regular roller, because it was white.  Then at the end of the video, she had, in writing, that she used a foam rubber one.  Which do you use?

Katy - believe or not, I have used my roller, rolling up and down after it had come out of the refrigerator to get the side smooth and push it down at the bottom edges. Since I typically put borders on cakes, never tried it but it really may not be necessary once you perfect this technique.

mmm - might have to be giving that a try Pamela, thanks for sharing.  Looks like you would need to have a border though, as it doesn't seem to smooth the bottom of the cake............

Melvira first introduce it quite some time ago. Here is a video, I'm sure who made this one!
