I would love that Neryl, I really appreciate it. I have seen a few receipes for the gumpaste so I will try it. I have made the marshmellow fondant and it works good so I will try the gumpaste and see how it works for me. I really would like to see the way you make the flowers and what you use to cut them out any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Sheila, Thank you! All it takes is practise! Silver metallic dusting powder mixed with a few drops of vodka or gin then painted on the leaves. I normally make the leaves with gray paste so that it doesn't need too much silver painting, for gold leaves I would use yellow paste for the same reason.
Sheila, I believe that when you want to learn to make gumpaste flowers you have to start from the beginning, learn to make the flower paste first, don't go out and buy all kinds of tools, many flowers can be made without buying fancy cutters and tools!!! All you need is your fingers and a toothpick or two! I'll post some photos of flowers I made using this method.

Oh man these are gorgeous! I am just not good at gumpaste yet I get to be all thumbs when I try the flowers. I have a kit with all the cut outs but they seem too small like the roses I make from them are very little. I probably just dont know what I am doing haha.. Also how do you get the metalic look on those leaves... sorry I am full of questions.
