I hate to admit it - but, nothing more than humidity. I live in East Texas and from spring till Fall, we have a lot of humidity. Sometimes it's ok but sometimes I hate it!! I have a cake to deliver tomorrow that I know is going to sweat like crazy. We are having storms and is soooo humid!!
Love this cake, Becky what do you use in giving your fondant a glossy look
I completely love this cake. You're a design genius Becky
Thank you Sandra and, yes I would!!! I myself would like to see it after it's cut. I hope she sends me a picture. That's the bad part about doing fun things to the inside of the cake, you don't get to see it :(
You did a fabulous job and it's such a fun cake, too. Wouldn't you like to see the mom's face when they cut the cake?!
Thank you so much. The customer wanted a jelly bean theme but didn't what actual jelly beans on it. I struggled for a design. When I looked on the internet, there just are very few jelly bean themed cakes and none that really were interesting. I was looking at Pinterest one morning and found the tutorial on the pinwheel and it clicked in my mind with jelly beans (don't ask me why). They were easy to make and the customer is happy. The lady that ordered it is a news anchor for our local ABC news. I was very nervous and glad that it worked!!! Here is a picture of the insides…….
Oh Becky !! Your cakes ARE so much fun to look at. I love'em....Great idea and design..
This cake is adorable, Becky! Love, love the pinwheels! What on earth gave you the idea to use jellybeans?
