12" tall, about the size of a real cat - made of RCTs covered in 50%/50% modeling chocolate and fondant, colored with gel colors and artist's soft pastels. The only non-edible components are the whiskers, which are paper covered wires.

I'm pretty sure, its not going to be eaten. Thanks for your directions on how you made it. Youre awesome!
Thank you, Ruby! If you picked it up you would know immediately that it definitely is not porcelain! Four recipes of RCTs, plus the tail and almost a whole batch of MMF and modeling chocolate mixed 50/50. It actually weighs about as much as a real cat, too.
Excellent work! Looks like a porcelain statue.
No, Betty, I have not. These are my first sculpting efforts since I was in college and those were all abstract, - it is all our teachers allowed in the late sixties. My paintings were all abstract, too. My teachers would pass out if they saw what I choose to do after school :o) I am really enjoying sculpting and wonder why I didn't discover it 40 years ago, since I've always painted.
Sandra ..have you ever tried another type of medium (clay etc) for sculpting??? You really have the talent for it.
Sweet Betty, thank you so much! I so dearly love your cakes, but I have decided it is best for me to keep my piping attempts to a minimum and stick to what I can do with my hands - LOL.
Thank you so very much, June! Without the encouragement and TEACHINGS of this group, I would never have been able to do anything like this....or even know it existed.
Thank you so much, Wendy! I joined this group shortly after I discovered cake decorating and this wonderful group of cake friends taught me everything I know about the art. I am so glad you have joined us :o)
Thank you, Maria xxooo - I am so glad you enjoyed it and hope your day was truly special!
