Thank you so much for your kind words. Holly,I used gum paste.For making Rose I always use metal cone so when I join every petal I can thin it very easily and I remove extra paste.

Nadia, may I ask what you use for sugar paste? I'm using gum-tex rather than tylose powder simply for economics at this point. The tops of my roses are beautiful, but I end up with a 'whole lot' of sugar paste under the rose. I cut if off but it's still much thicker than I'd like...This is so lovely, very realistic!

Stunning - I've just made lots of cream roses for a wedding cake. I was really pleased with them.....that was until I saw yours! Glorious xx
