Made for a baby shower for a friend's first grandchild. The cake is covered with fondant and detailed with buttercream for the cross-stitch. I couldn't resist making the cross-stitch bib as the shower present.

Well Karen...It was definitely worth it!  I had never seen anything like it and it looks gorgeous!!!!  Love the color contrast too.  Again, well done!!!!  Hugs!

Thanks!

I'll admit my hand was about ready to fall off by the time I was done and I definitely questionned my sanity for deciding to try an idea I'd seen in a book.  But it was so worth it when I saw the look of excitement and wonder from my friend and the mom-to-be.

OMG!  Love the Cross stich...That requires so much patience in fabric...can only imagine in icing...Kudos on a job well done!
