Thanks, Alma! I used chocolate fondant to make his body feathers and it smelled (and tasted) so darned good I just kept stealing a bite.
Are you kidding me you are so talented. I am so amazed!
You don't have to, Betty! You can decorate cakes for real! All I can do is sculpt trinkets to fool people into thinking I can decorate. I would give my eye teeth (crowns and all!) to be able to pipe like you do.
I apologize for adding the painting where cakes should be (and I will delete them when we get through with our discussion!), but check out the number of hairs on these critters and you get an idea of why I have developed patience :o)
And I dream about doing cross word puzzles, Up-Words, or Scrabble... lol
I guess one month doesn't bother me a lot because I have done paintings which took several months. I am used to nit-pickie details.
Bonnie, you should see what goes on in my head when I try to sleep at night. I dream about ways to construct cakes and toppers! I admit, they are far superior to the dreams I had about crunching numbers when I was working!
This is another cake I keep coming back to. Just fantastic details. Never in a million years could I do one that looks so real!!!
And she said 'It ONLY took a month! Sandra, dear, you must have the patience of Job!
Let's see...., one month, that's30 days.
And that is 720 hours.
And I get impatient after 1.2 hours...?!!
How about the rest of you? Now tell the truth. {:o)
