the fins are gumpaste rolled very thin and "scratched with the wilton "shell" like tool. I then covered it in a flesh tone fondant, scratched the scales in and airbrushed with a black/ white/ silver mix for the top, red sheen pearl , then blue sheen pearl, for the bottom, I actually wiped it with a slightly damp paper towl before I sprayed it, thats what gave it that yucky fish look. sprayed white, then white pearl over that, hand painted the spots with a dark brown/vodka mix

Hi just wondering how you made this cool cake. What is the icing made from? Is it fondant or butter cream? what are the colours that you used? It looks so cool, I would love to make a cake like this one for my partner's birthday.
