Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

A friend Hamster sat for us at the last minute so I could go on vacation, so when I returned I told her I'd make a birthday cake for her. She then suggested instead, to make some thing for the silent auction coming up to benefit the fight against childhood brain cancer. And that was right up my alley! So, I took Elise's course (Designer Handbag Cakes)and thought this would be a perfect opportunity to try it. Rachael passed of brain cancer at the age of 14, she loved fashion so I think she would probably love this cake seeing that she'd be in her 20's by now.

Fabulous job - and great sentiment to back it up.

Awe, thank you Jane. I was trying to make it "exactly" like Elise's but some parts just didn't fit well so I used her template and another purse template, using the parts I wanted (which is what she did anyway :-).
