See what I mean about the ripping. I tried to change the design to hide them. Oh well, everyone loved it anyway.

$5....... Holey Moley!! I paid $8 @ Walmart. And I can only ever get a 40% coupon for Michael's. With that they are $16.99, so with coupon & tax, I pay roughly $11. If I could get them for $5 a piece, I would have bought 3 at a time!!

Katy, I wonder if you can check out with the distributor in the UK to see what the prices would be. Here is the link...you will have to scroll down until you find England. http://www.wilton.com/about/contact/intl_distrib.cfm

Goreti - I've just checked out this link that you sent for Linda.  I can't believe the prices!  I'm going to see if they ship to the UK and how much that costs (loadsamoney probably)

I know it is!!! I have a whole floor to ceiling cupboard that my husband made just to hold all of my cake stuff, and it's packed to the max, and overflowing into other areas of my house, now.

I had to stop myself from buying them all.  This is an addiction. It really is.

Check this out Linda.  They now have a bunch of these molds.  I also have the jewelry one but haven't used it yet.  http://www.wilton.com/store/site/department.cfm?id=D763CF14-1E0B-C9...

I haven't gone shopping forever! No cakes to do, so I have been taking it easy on my pocket book as well as my wrists. Now, I am going to have to check it out. I do love Wilton's molds. I have a few but not all of them. Buttons must really be the 'new' thing, because I have even seen huge button wall hangings at Hobby Lobby. When I say huge, I mean in one big button big enough for a giant to have on their cloths! Very strange type of decor.......

By the way, the ribbons & bows are also from that mold as well as all the button shapes used in this cake.

That's exactly what I did.  When sent me a picture with polka dots and stripes, I thought of this mold right away.  I printed my 50% off coupon and off to Michael's I went.  Paid $5.  I thought it look a little more finished by adding a tiny strip of fondant to the buttons to look like thread.  Wilton actually has a couple of new molds.  I think I've already bought 2.  Had to stop myself from buying the others.
