These roses actually photographed more purple than they really are. The color faded to a muddy brown. In an attempt to correct, I dusted heavily with petal dust and luster dust with marginal success.

The colour and shimmery glitter is so pretty, beautiful rose too.

This rose has about 40 petals.  As with real roses, my sugar roses vary the number of petals.  I do not pay a lot of attention to the actual number, just keep adding until it looks the way I want it to.

This rose is anything but marginal.  It is so pretty!  You must use a lot more than the conventional 3-3-5-7-9.  Looks like you just keep adding as you go around, and don't worry about how many 'layers' there are.  Makes for a much more natural look.
