I just used the melting chocolates you use for making candy and yes then in a pastry bag with a small tip

white chocolate? and did you melt it then use a decorating bag and tip?

I used chocolate to hold the bow in place and it worked like a charm! Put a puddle of chocolate down on wax paper then start piecing your bow together, adding chocolate as you go. When complete stick it in the freezer to set for 10 minutes then you can add it to your cake. Just remember to match the chocolate color to the bow color
