Cross and sheet cake
Another 'older' cake of mine that I did in 1995. It's been so long that I cannot remember what the flavor was. Probably white, as using different flavorings for special cakes wasn't used that much in my area.

ALMOND FLAVORING... I LOVE almond flavoring... Helen Flieg (my favorite cake decorator of all time, she lived in our parish where I grew up, and my parents still live... she had this natural, amazing talent, her icing flow and precision were just out of this world...! she also did Lambeth and it was really quite stunning...!) use to use almond flavoring... my personal favorite...!!!

I love white too. White cake, white icing. Preferably with a little almond flavoring. Good old tradition!
