Flavia - I actually took a real playing card and used it as my template for the cards and then used the frosting pens to do the lettering etc. For the chips I purchased the colored fondant, and used a cookie cutter for the initial shape. I then used the bottom of an icing tip to make the indentation. I painted the chips with food coloring at full strength. Hope that helps

Hi, Nice job and love the cake. How did you do the cards & chips. Please advise, give some tips as I too have to do one for a friends 40th bday. Its a first time, am not a professional.
