Aha I presumed you were in America! So you will know the Tate & Lyle make? I have bought a couple of boxes of fondant icing sugar to try making my own, haven't got round to it yet though.

ah im an irish girl just moved to canada so find that the ready made fondant here tastes crap so make my own which is also much cheaper and tastier.

It's regular fondant (from UK) and I don't make it, I buy it. For the faces I used paprika/flesh coloured by sugarflair, autumn leaf is also good and gives a browner tone.

I used a piping tip to make the curve and a frilling tool for the holes in the corners of the mouths. One tip though, give the dots a miss...it looks good but takes way too long!!

What cute cupcakes! What did you use for the curve of the mouth?
