I have made lambeth cakes that are real, but once I send them off to their parties I don't get to see the cutting.

And now Rima... you have to make a REAL cake like this... and show it being cut into so we can all lust over the cake stuff... That's the only sad part about class cakes... you can't eat them...

Katy, my eyesight is awful, I am farily steady handed... I think it took about 10 hours or so.

Yes, Linda, it is a class cake. The only creative license I took was in the gel and flowers. Kathleen's design already calls for the 24ths and elongated shells and '?' shapes, and stringwork of choice. If you look at the bootcamp cakes Tim and I did you'll see the pieces that nod to this cake. That bootcamp cake is a little bit of the whole series.

everything is in 24ths, yes. It's a 10"round on a 14" bevel.
