OK with the creeks....did anyone ever get leaches or is that just a southern thing?  Thank goodness they were not the size of the ones in African Queen stuck all over Humphrey Bogart and Katherine Hepburn!

It is warming Sandra...the atmosphere....which changes weather patterns all over the world. Your right...it is getting cooler...

Betty, we used to have one running through the cow pasture, not to deep, but boy was it clear, you could see everything go by.  We used to drink out of it all the time, as kids, until we realized that the cows were ALL doing their business in it!!!   And we liked to play in it too.  But that was in Maryland, not much different than here in Delaware.  My son said our lagoon water was warmer than the pool water. I never tested it to see, to many Gar & such in it to suit me.

I learned to swim in the cold, cold creek, Betty, when I was still a baby :o)  Loved it, but now I am old.

"You All" don't know what cold is till you swim in cold, cold creek water. Of course I did that in my youth not now. HA Ha : )

That's my point, June!  It seems to be gradually cooling, not warming.  That is why I say AG invented global warming.  It may be warming somewhere else, but it ain't here!  

Bonnie, we have been lucky if the pool temp reached 82 degrees this year.  About 70 degrees is as low as I can stand.  I am a southern girl!
