Giraffe Cake
I made this cake for a gathering in memory of a dear friend whose dream it was to work at the giraffe sanctuary in Palm Desert, CA when she retired. Sadly she passed away before realizing that dream. A plaque (an edible one replicated on the cake) was installed in her memory at the sanctuary. The cake was 36 inches high! See more photos of the cake in my photos.
