I have one too, but I didn't use the frill cutter. You did, though, didn't you June? It gives more of a scalloped edge, Gail. Look under Garrett Frill Cutter, Gail. I just cut strips.

It is pretty easy, just time consuming. It's just a giant circle with rounded edges.  Press, cut circle in half, frill the edges, attach to the cake. then.....

Repeat, repeat, repeat..............

You need a frill cutter. I did a ruffle cake this past Aug. You want fondant thin to medium cause if too thin, it tears, to thick, frills don't curl. Practice makes perfect!!

THANK YOU JUST PRATICE CAKE . I AM TRYING TO DO RUFFLES ON CAKES BUT , I THINK IAM MAKING THE FOUNDANT TO THIN ! HELP ,,,, LOL
