Oh, Ruby! that sounds just like my grandniece! When I was making that basket cake with the fruits and veges, I came up missing a plum that I had just finished and put down on the table so that I could go get a cup of coffee, and I came back, and one of the plums was missing. At first I thought that I had miscounted, but then I saw my grandniece who is 2, and she was just munching away at that plum! She calls fondant cake too. I actually gave her a cupcake today and she looked at me like what the heck was she supposed to do with that. She licked off all the frosting and left the cupcake.

LOL, these stories sound so familiar. I guess we all go through this. My grandkids always ask for scraps when they see me working on a cake. Usually, its the top layer that I cut off the cake to level. They love it. My 3 yr old loves fondant. He calls it cake! He fell in love with it since he ate some of my red gumpaste roses I was making for a cake order. I only made 6, he ate 3 of them without me knowing. I saw him with red lips. I said what are you eating. Of course his answer was nothing! LOL

Doesn't that drive u nuts!!! My hubby has always been thin, didn't put weight on till he was over 50. He has been annoyed cause I have been keeping my cake scrapes for other uses. He loves cake & icing.

I will look into that cruise, sounds interesting.

lol...that's funny, Tracy. Mine does too, although, if I supply him with enough cake and icing, he seems to be ok. Last night I was working on cupcakes for a bake sale and he has already put in a 'request' for anything that may be left over on the cupcakes. He should  weigh a ton, but his metabolism is pretty fast and he never gets fat...(unlike me...I breathe the frosting and ten pounds just pops onto my body).

Omg Ruby, that sounds amazing. Don't think my hubby would be amused - he already feels a cake widower lol. Tx
