Faith, the stencils are done with royal icing. The recipe comes with the stencils. I love working with them.

Do you paint it on with royal icing? or do you pipe it? It looks beautiful!

Holly, this is all stenciling. I bought the stencils from Global Sugar Arts and I LOVE using them. Much easier than putting on all the pieces that are cut out!!!

Gorgeous!! Do you have a cricut cake, or is that stenciling?
