Thanks on the pic!!  I love it too!

And I do not think it was the weather, my other stuff all turned out fine, even what I made just last week, had some left in the fridge, and used it to let the kids play around with this week, acted fine as they ate it... lol  Must have gotten a bad batch of Crisco!!??  Though it tasted fine!  Go figure!

That is weird, Bonnie!  Could it be the horrible humidity and heat we've had for the last month?

It is 'fess-up' time! This time, the buttercream decided it was not buttercream after all.  I have never had this particular problem before!! It was so weird that it had me laughing, instead of getting mad. I used the exact same recipe that I have been using for the past 3 years, but it changed on me..., and became this weird creepy oily blob (like with Steve McQueen) that would not stick to anything, not the mixer blade, the bowl, the spatula, the cake,... creeeepeeee. So I let it set in the fridge for a while, added more sugar, in the form of more icing, & mixed it for quite a while, beat the stuffing out of it apparently, because it decided to act a little better, good enough to get it on the cake anyway. I took the pics as fast as I could, half afraid it would start slipping & sliding again, right off the cake! ANY IDEAS on what happened? WHY it turned thick, oily, and heavy?? Definitely need some help here! lol  With the buttercream acting so odd, oily, & heavy, we were lucky to get it crumb coated at all!
