I love that story, Bonnie!  There were three of us girls and we were as close as triplets.  Lynn (my younger sister) and I still are and this is exactly like something we would do together.  After reading your note, I can just hear the laughter and since the joy.  Thanks for sharing :o)

Modesty becomes you! lol  My sis did the zebra & giraffe, then she took time to 'flatten' the back end of my hippo!  That is not how it is supposed to look, but it was for HER grands baby shower, ... sooo ....

And she kept changing her mind about how she wanted it to look as we went along, also no big deal.  I just did, as I was bid.   She was having fun, and I do mean FUN, trying out all my leaf molds and such.  She even helped with the baby's blanket.  And yes, the top cake has a layer that is leaning/sliding, she did not want any straws or such in it.  Said it would be fine.  And did you get the impression that she really enjoyed the grass tip?!!  We were having fun, afterall!

Bonnie, I think animals must be your forte!  These are adorable!  I've never tried any and do not know how successful I would be.  I have never been able to draw cartoons, either, even though I do portraits.  I guess sometimes you go it, sometimes you don't.
