Thanks...the cake was for my son and his Texas bride. All the Texasans loved the cake and told me I tied the 'Honda Knot' correctly on the lasso...which is the knot and loop on the end. Thanks again...as far as the bales went I do think they looked good. I researched a lot on the internet and didn't find any that looked like my creation.
Boy! I was going to be speechless if you had told me that they were. I don't think anyone would be offended at all. I don't know how many times I have used props all through the years I've done cakes. You do whatever it takes to make a cake! lol Heck, your bales of hay look real enough!
No...sorry...,I had very limited time and space...I hope it doesn't offend any fellow cake designers. I live in MO and my son's wedding was in TX...with only 2 days off work and limited workspace we had to use props. The guitar is a wooden childs guitar...the rope is cording...the straps are ribbon...the hat is the brides from her childhood.
Is everything edible?
