Masquerade Cake
For a "Sweet 16" Masquerade-themed event. Original design; the birthday girl chose the colors. They wanted an actual mask for a topper; I never used anything inedible on a cake before, but....whatever the client wants :)

Thank you so much! The design was my own; the birthday girl printed out my sketch, then colored it herself. I thought that was a great idea to have for our final consultation. And yes, even though it would've been a challenge to create the mask, I would've enjoyed doing that far more than shopping for a real one to match. Thank goodness party stores had begun Halloween décor by then, even though it was early August :)
