Thank you Linda! This was my first fondant cake I made and after it was given away and me looking at the picture I thought oh shoot! ... I should have made a path going to the gate and filled the grass in more covering up the cake drum. It felt uncompleted, So I thought it wasnt good enough to post. After all this time... here it is! :)

Well, it looks perfect in the pic. LOL. And yes, Wilton's fondant isnt the best, but it works if its all you have. Just knead a little crisco in it to keep it soft before you place it on the cake. That might help it from cracking. Best to you.

Thank you Ruby. Close up it doesnt look that good. I was such a beginner that I used wilton's fondant. On a close up picture you can see that the green has little tiny hair line cracks.

Its hard to believe this is your first fondant cake. What an excellent job you did. WOW! congrats. I love this cake. What a great job you did in covering the cakes.
