Thank you Olivia,  No the ribbon around the tiers aren't edible.  The birthday girl brought them to us at our first meeting, she wanted her bling. I don't know any sites off hand, but you should be able to google jewel or crystal ribbons and come up with lots.  She did say they were very expensive.

Thank you Erin. The gems are sugar gems that we purchased and painted the back with ultra silver dust...it took forever.

Thank you! I usually find fault in everything I do, but I was happy with the outcome because it was my second buttercream tiered cake.

Very eyecatching. I know pictures don't normally do bling justice - this must have looked even better in the 'sugar' (if thats possible) Lovely
