Oh Katy, you recognized the hedgehogs!  My friend thought they were porcupines and Mike said they looked like miniature corn-on-the-cob (which they sort of do :o)!

You know I love this SS!  All the little critters are just too adorable.  And I've just noticed the widdle hedgehog guys peeking over the edge.  Wonderful
