I’m pleased with how my peony turned out this time. Made using the deco clay. Peony on the left was my inspiration.

Since I have never seen it, I am thinking the paper clay might be a good choice for things like the calix on flowers and feathers - things that always seem to get broken when done in gum paste. I can't wait to try this!  Thanks for introducing me to this stuff, June :o)

When it dries Sandra, it's paper like. Not dry & brittle...consistency changes from slightly damp medium to paper....

Is the paper clay brittle like gum paste when it drys?  Does it dry or change consistency in any way?

June, this is beautiful.  It really does look like the real thing.  I want to try the paper clay, for sure.
