I needed to "write" on the cake, but being new at decorating, and not knowing about CWB, couldn't quite figure it out. Used a icing image, but didn't know how to get the icing image on the cake. Of course should have "steamed" it. Plus I had image printed at a local grocery store, and the ink image was faint. Another mistake, using the grocery store. As you can see, placed the image on the cake, & piped little dots to secure. Was my 1st shot at making cally lillies as well. Also had a cake bulge I wasn't experienced enough to fix. Oh well, we all learn & grow.
All & all, the bride was happy with the cake. That's what matters

The wedding cake, which was done 3 yrs ago, I set up at the hall. The mannequin cake I dowelled & glued down the skirt with royal icing.

I took the day before. It was the mannequin cake. Your photo shopped version was really nice.

It looks awesome, June. Did you have any problems transporting it? By the way, were you able to get any photos of your cake for that bridal shower cake?

Well, for my 4th wedding cake ever I ever made, I guess it was OK. As you read under the pic, I wasn't very experienced. But the bride, my daughters sis-in-law, was happy.
