Thanks Katy, June, Goreti, Luz lglesias and of course Linda Wolff (and congratulations Linda on your Fall Cake win... what a cake...!) for your kind thoughts... I appreciate it...!!!

It was the twenty seventh Anniversary of my 21st Birthday... and... I still feel like a kid... go figure...

My word... those gum paste flowers do take their time to make...  Still, I'm glad I finally did it...

thanks again everyone for your kind words...!!!

What a gorgeus cake, the flowers and the colors match perfectly.  Congratulations.

This is one gorgeous cake - you are such a master at piping.  Sorry you had to make your own cake, but then, who else could do this?  Happy Birthday Tim, my friend!  21 again?

Well... It's a lot of stuff Angela... The cake is three layers with the bottom layer being a beveled... top two layers are coconut... and the bottom was German Chocolate. then the icing covering the cake was from Kathleen Lange's "Confectionary Chalet" recipe section French Butter Cream.... Then the cake was covered in Fondant and then decorated with Royal Icing... The hand made flowers are Fondant...
