About the stand, it is a rental. We couldn't find one that we wanted. This was a very sturdy stand and not heavy. Thanks for the comments.

Congratulations!  You have conquered the fear of the first!  Good, you should be proud!

This may seem odd, but I have a question about the stand.  I believe it is one that I am considering purchasing.  I was looking for a plain square, but they all seem to have some kind of design on them.  My question is do you like this stand?  Is it heavy or flimsy or in between?  Is it difficult to polish?
