My First Giant Birthday Cupcake !!
Well, after weeks of stress, sleepless nights etc, here it is ..!!
Sorry the pic isnt good. The weather is awful so i couldnt take a good pic in daylight.
I hope this looks ok.
Was so worth all the stress and worry over this cake when the girls face ( and her mum) was a picture of OMG ! I love it ! LOL
For me, thats whats its all about .

I haven't used a Garret friller no Lisa. What I have done in the past is to use two fluted ring biscuit cutters. Cut out a large circle with a big one, fluted side. Then cut out the inner circle with a smaller cutter, straight side. Snip the circle, straighten it out and frill with the cone shaped tool that I don't know the name of! Doesn't give quite such a large frill, but it does the job.
And yes, June's right - you're addicted like the rest of us. The more you do, the more you want to do.

Dresden tool - you'll wonder how you ever managed without it - I love mine. And a frill cutter - you really are going for it aren't you lol!

We all do that Lis - everyone says it's wonderful but, no, we have to find fault with everything we do. Bear in mind, this is your first. You will have learnt things you didn't even realise you learnt and next time you will get better and better.
