Each tier is 2 layers lemon sponge with lemon curd and lemon buttercream.
For the bows and broaches I used moulds from Karen Davies range. The small flowers on top are non edible cake decorations.

I agree with the fact that this business really lets your creativity fly - my better cakes are the ones where I have an idea but not a set-in-stone design. Often my designs evolve.
I think that is what drew me to this cake to begin with - it is free form and very beautiful.
