As you can see, 2 8" torted layers, filled with, and covered in, chocolate marshmallow buttercream. Practicing a little of everything here again, but mainly just to feed my sweet tooth! lol

No way, jose!   Melted MM will not work, must use Marshmallow crème, comes in a 7 oz. container, or Marshmallow Fluff, which comes in a 16 oz. container.  I always do the 16 oz. Fluff, covers a good sized cake like this easily.  It does not crust, but I like working with it on a cake whenever I can, seems to hold up better.  I use it for the shabby chic cakes, the natural look, etc..., all that don't need crusting, or fondant.

This looks just scrumptious, Bonnie!  Never heard of marshmallow buttercream.  Do you just melt and add marshmallows to your shortening, flavoring, chocolate, powdered sugar mixture?
