My Cake #3

Don't downgrade yourself, Dee. There is every level of decorator on this site and we are all here to learn from each other and share our experiences. You did great on this cake! What I have found from this site for myself, is the fact that I need more experience and when I see some of the really outstanding cakes on here, it pushes me to achieve the next level and not just stay in my comfort zone. I used to do only butter cream cakes because I was so intimidated by fondant. Once I came here, and learned (and am still learning) all that I can about fondant and gum paste, I'm experimenting more in that direction. This site will definitely challenge you!! lol
