My 35th Wedding Anniversary Cake
Top tier is styrofoam covered in ivory fondant with gumpaste flowers and fondant embellishments. I got inventive and used a tupperware lid to make the half shells.
Bottom tier is Chocolate fudge cake with chocolate bc & skor bar filling. Covered in shabby chic white bc

No, Mick and I don't do gifts either anymore. Pointless really as it's spending money on something neither of us really need or want, when we could put it towards something else.........Hawaiian Cruise, cool - envy you that one.

Steve gave me a beautiful, heartfelt card. No gifts for each other. $$$ going towards our Hawaiian Cruise in Jan/13. Everyone enjoyed the cake. My 1 sis-in-lw found it hard to watch me "pull it all apart"..... Hee Hee

June, I was married on Aug 30, 1980. It was a dark & dreary day. It was actually cold but it really didn't matter to me it was a wonderful day.

Wish it had been as beautiful when we got married as it is here today. Gorgeous, sunny, perfect Fall day.
It rained buckets from the time we got up until the reception was over... then it stopped. Never forget that!!
