Thanks ladies! Lisa, I used gumpaste and just freehaned and molded them by hand. I have no molds, just prop them on anything available to form the shape. These are actually only about 2 inches. I painted them and added to a cake. Since then I have done 2 full size versions with the purses as the cake. Check them out and let me know what you think.

This is just so beautiful:)  I'd love to know how u did the shoe.  I just some and it was so difficult.  It looks like you did layers!  What did you do with them?

Tina, yes it was gumpaste. Wish I could find an easy recipe for gumpaste. It's sooo expensive.
