My 1st Gumpaste Orchid!

I had some faded out purple gumpaste leftover from a previous cake project , so I got to thinking "Is there a such thing as a "Black or Dark Purple Orchid"? Yup, indeed there is, it is found in Belize. For the throat I cut out a template with an exacto knife. For the other sepals or petals I used clematis cutter and veiner. Just experimenting! Can't wait to try other orchids.
