Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

After seeing my yellow mums on the ground after a heavy downpour, I decided to cut them to make a flower arrangement. Since I hadn't made any flowers in a while, I figured I would try making them in sugar. Made them in different colors.

You got it Katy.  It is almost like he resents the time I spend on it.

Oh yes Goreti - I know how that goes too.  So much for Equality for Women - never, ever going to happen.  Do what you want as long as it doesn't interfere with anything i want you to do...........

That's what I thought G. Mine took a long time to dry, but your petals are a lot thinner. Even my "thicker" petals were breaking on assembly. You really should teach. Your so talented. :o)

Thank you Mel & Mandy.

June, I'm not sure how long it took me because I worked on it here & there.  I did the center and let them dry. Next day did a layer or two then left it to dry etc etc etc.  It did take a bit though because I actually did each petal individually so I could make it more realistic.  I did make the petals a little thin and find that they break sooo easily.
