This was definitely a hard lesson for me. I baked a first batch of cakes only to realize they were not sturdy enough. So I baked vanilla cake from scratch in Busch Light Beer cans. I had to make sure they were level and the same size. The tops I made using the cut off beer can cake top. Another problem was placing the labels on. Should I have waited for the fondant to harden some??? In the end I was pleased with my first beer can cake.
