This is a vanilla cake with a canolli cream filling. I made my fondant with marshmallows and confectioners sugar...colored with americolors. All decorations are made from the same fondant. The blue roses I colored with edible colormist. The fondant decorations were made by the smallest circle cookie cutter, and with a balling tool rubbed out to look like a little flower. To attach to the cake, I steamed the fondant and placed the little cut outs on the cake. Lastly I added little white edible pearls to accent the cake. Time consuming? Yes! Back ache? Yes! Worth it? Yes...my Moms worth it!
