Or maybe your fondant was thin enough for the base coat to show through???

Yeap!  It was there when I spread the fondant across the cake....didn't appear later.  The only thing I can think of is that it had something to do with the colors not being completely incorporated.

???? I see it now, but don't know...has a yellowish maybe tint?

Thanks, Bonnie, but I really wanted a soft color but am too heavy handed, I guess.  And WHAT is the brownish looking color about midway on the right?  It was really there, not just in the phone and I haven't a clue what caused it.

I loved the marbling, but it was much darker than I intended. Thought it turned out sorta of harsh.

You do have an eye, don't you Bonnie!  I don't think anyone else (even in real life) has noticed the buds and I was really proud of them.  Thanks, Hawkeye!
