A replica DS for a DS-mad girl. The 'screen' was a royal icing plaque with transfers stuck onto it, so she could keep it.

Hi Geniese.  It's just some icing sugar dissolved in some lightly beaten egg white and a little lemon juice, beaten until it's smooth and shiny.  It needs to be a fairly thick consistency so it holds it's shape whilst drying.  Then I spread it onto some parchment paper (about 3-5mm thick) with a palette knife into a rectangle shape.  You can trim the edges to make them tidier after it has dried a little.  Leave it to dry completely hard - at least a day, then gently peel off the parchment paper.  Hope this helps.
