Getting better?

Waiting for my Tylose to arrive in the post, so still using fondant and, of course, some breakages today. Just working in black white and gold at the moment rather than mess around colouring. Still simple stuff, but I see no point in being adventurous till I get the basic stuff right. I reckon that once I start using the right medium, I can achieve better results. Work in progress as Linda would say!

The highs & lows of decorating!!! My son was giving me the business this morning. Saying I am "obsessed" with caking, and why don't I get a job at a cake shop...blah...blah. I just asked him if he could give up ALL SPORTS!!!!! The watching of, playing, discussing, cking internet for a full year.....ah...he shut right up...he! he! :o)
