Kennedees Birthday Cakes 004

Buttercream covered cake. This was my first attempt at both fondant butterflies and gelatin butterflies. I was pleased with both. It was also my first attempt at fondant carnations. The best part...Kennedee says, "Hey mommy, is Jackie doing my birthday cake again...if she is...I would like pink flowers and purple butterflies." It feels good to be personally requested by a five year old. I must be doing something right!
