Last Minute Silver and Purple Wedding Cake!
Since this is last minute, I did an old fashion wedding cake with piped royal icing roses. I need to get back in to practice with these puppies. Matter of fact this was my first time using ribbon on a cake, it not being a fondant ribbon. The cake is a whipped cream frosted vanilla cake! Does any body out there like anything other than vanilla? Just a question -LOL

THAT sounds delicious!! I love orange dream-sickle ice cream. Had some a few days ago! Keep it in the basement for when the kids all come swimming.

There you go! And serve Neopolitan Ice cream with it, for a change of taste! lol!
You might sneak in a flavor other than vanilla, and claim the stuff must have fallen in somehow.!? lol

Thank you everyone! Bonnie, I'm so tired of making vanilla flavored cakes! My friends and family only eat chocolate or vanilla cakes. I would like to make a pina colada, what about a caramel anything kind of cake, I wouldn't even mind making a carrot cake! I'm sorry, I'm not being rhetorical/facetious! LOL! Maybe I will try on my family a Neopolitan can, 1-layer, vanill, 1-strawberry,1-layer chocolate with fudge frosting! Whooohooo!

I agree, vanilla is boring. My customer base doesn't have a gourmet palate. Wish they did I would have a chance to do something different. I suggest things, they say "maybe another time". Me, I like all kinds of cake.

Chocolate Orange, Mint Chocolate, Carrott, & Strawberry are what my family usually requests! Only my hubby & son want plain vanilla, but then they only really want banana breads! lol

Nice job, it's very pretty--Vanilla cake bores me to tears. That is why I love to just surprise my family. This way I choose the flavor. Funny thing is they always end up loving it. Those that I asked them was either chocolate or vanilla...borinnnnnnng. lol

Pretty cake... In my area vanilla frosting & yellow butter cake is the most asked for flavor. I think it's a safe call..& pleases most people.
