Shoe box is Devils Food Cake, 4 layer, torted with white chocolate butter icing, then milk chocolate butter icing and finally dark chocolate ganache. Covered in Teddy Bear brown fondant, to get as close as possible to the colour of a Louboutin shoe box. Hand piped logo in royal icing. Tissue paper 50/50 fondant gumpaste, rolled with textured rolling pin and folded as I attached it to give it movement. Shoe is gumpaste, taken from a combination of designs by Louboutin. No moulds used for the shoe, just a template I found on the internet for the basic shape, adapted to what I wanted. Shoe is standing on red fondant to represent the red dust bag. Board is covered in white fondant and textured with a tile embosser. Flower paste roses.

Thanks Evelyn - it was modelled a little on a pair I used to have when I was much younger and my knees were less cranky!

It looks very nice. Great detail work. Looks like you could just walk out in them.

Thank you so much Liza.  Baby booties on the next cake - a whole lot easier and quicker than this, that's for sure!
