I cut cardstock in the lengths I needed and taped them onto a 6 inch pan. Then I added my strips of fondant/gum paste and allowed them to dry for 3 days. I had not a clue what it was going to look like in the end as I did this from my head and not actually looking at a crown or a cake for inspiration.
