Also...this cake was going to NY (Manhattan). Son lives there. Holding it on a plane all the way...hope it gets there OK.

I was going to use fondant stars instead of the drop flower, but this lady doesn't like fondant anything.

Katy.... Tip # 1M. One of those lg ones, I use it for the rosettes i piped on the side and top of cakes, cupcake swirl and I pull it up the sides of cakes for a pleated look.

oh great job Betty!  What tip have you done the flowers on the flag with?  I've seen a smaller version of them, but not this big?
